You need to add policies to your shop so customers know what they can expect prior to and after ordering. Once you set these general policies, it will be display on all of your products on the “Shipping & Return Policy Tab”.
Shipping Policy
It is important for customers to know how quickly they can expect their products. Are they immediately available? Will they ship within one day of order? Please make sure you accurately describe your policy.
Examples:
- We ship orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your order will go out on our next shipment day. You will get a notification once your order has been shipped.
- We ship all orders within two business days. You will get a notification once your order has been shipped.
Refund Policy
It is important for customers to know if/how you will conduct returns for your products. Please make sure you accurately state your policy so they know what to expect.
Examples:
- We allow refunds on orders only if the item has not yet been shipped, picked up, or delivered. You must contact us immediately to cancel your order.
- Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer refunds on any of our items.
- Should you have a problem with your product or order, please contact us to make it right. We will work with individual customers as needed to make situations right.
Cancellation/Return/Exchange Policy
It is important for customers to know if/how you will conduct cancellations, returns, or exchanges for your products. Please make sure you accurately state your policy so they know what to expect.
Examples:
- If you are unhappy with your product for any reason, you may return it to us (at your expense) and we will refund you the order amount, less the original shipping.
- We only allow returns/exchanges on certain items. Should you have a problem with your product, please contact us and we’ll work with customers on a case by case situations.
